A short walk further south around the Glaslyn peninsula and you are passing Porthmadog Sailing Club, Porthmadog Boat Club and two water craft dealerships before you arrive in the thriving seaside Port Town of Porthmadog with its slating and fishing history. 

Here you can catch the Ffestiniog Steam Train to the famous Clough Williams-Ellis’ idyllic Portmeirion seaside idyll and famous set of The Prisoner.  Every August the National Eisteddfod of Wales is within visiting distance.

Pwllheli Sailing Club and its dramatic harbour for both large yachts and sailboats is a short drive away.

The Glaslyn estuary affords sheltered sailing, kayaking, paddle-boarding and personal water crafts sports.  The Garreg Wen site boasts a club house, quiet recreational green with children’s play area, tennis court and on site services for gas bottle provision, full recycling, 24/7 security patrols and site night lighting.

Garreg Wen is very rare amongst North Wales Park in not having a restrictive replacement timescale on property replacement.  The Park is non-residential and is open for 10 months.  There is no Council Tax to pay.  Site fees are applicable.
